Downpipes & Mid-Pipes
The largest family in the range: catted, catless and titanium downpipes, plus the mid-pipes that complete the front section.
The downpipe is the first section after the turbo, and it is the part most buyers in this market order by variant before they order by car. This family is therefore organised variant-first: catted downpipes with a high-flow catalyst section, catless downpipes built as a straight-through pipe, titanium downpipes, and the mid-pipes that continue the line to the catback. Sizes in the range run through the 3-inch, 3.5-inch and 4-inch classes the applications call for.
Under the variants sits the fitment list. BMW B48, B58, N55, S55 and S63 engines, Mercedes-AMG applications such as the C43 and C63, Audi and Volkswagen MQB cars on EA888 and EA855 engines, McLaren, Mini Cooper, Ford Mustang EcoBoost and Honda Civic 1.5T are all in current production. Send your vehicle and engine; the variant you want is matched to the fixture for that engine before anything is quoted.

Choosing the Variant: Catted, Catless or Titanium
A catted downpipe keeps a catalyst section in the pipe — in this range a 200-cell high-flow unit — inside an otherwise free-flowing SS304 construction. A catless downpipe removes the catalyst section entirely and runs as a straight pipe of the same diameter and routing. A titanium downpipe keeps the routing and changes the material, with the burnt-blue heat colouring that titanium takes. The comparison page sets the three side by side on construction and fitment.
All three are built the same way: mandrel-bent tube, TIG welding on the fitment fixture, flanges and sensor bosses placed from the original part's data. The variant is a specification choice on the same production route, not a different class of product.
Heat Shields, Finishes and Hardware
Downpipes run hot, and the range answers with heat shields in single and double-layer form on the applications that need them. Surface finishes are brushed or mirror polished on stainless, burnt blue on titanium, and ceramic coating where the order specifies it.
Hardware follows the original part: flange faces machined to the turbo outlet, V-band joints where the application uses them, and sensor bosses positioned from the scanned OEM piece. What arrives is the pipe, its shields and the joints it installs with — confirm the exact contents against your fitment on inquiry.
| Variant | Construction | Typical specification points |
|---|---|---|
| Catted | SS304 pipe with an integrated catalyst section | 200-cell high-flow catalyst; heat shield options |
| Catless | SS304 straight-through pipe, no catalyst section | Same routing and flange faces as the catted version |
| Titanium | Titanium pipe, TIG welded under argon | Burnt-blue finish; lightest construction in the family |
| Mid-pipe | SS304 or titanium centre section | Continues the downpipe line to the catback joint |
Fitment: Engines and Chassis in Production
The BMW list runs from the B48 four-cylinder through the B58, N55, S55 and S63 turbo engines across the F and G chassis generations. Mercedes-AMG coverage includes the C43 and C63. Volkswagen Group coverage is the MQB platform: Golf and its relatives on EA888 and EA855 engines. McLaren, Mini Cooper S, Ford Mustang EcoBoost and Honda Civic 1.5T round out the standing list.
Two engines anchor the family in detail: the B58 and the EA888, each documented around its own fixture, variants and hardware. For engines not listed, send the code — the reply confirms production or development, never a guess.
Mid-Pipes and Test Pipes in the Same Family
The mid-pipe continues the front section from the downpipe to the catback joint and is ordered with the downpipe or on its own when only the centre section is being changed. Test pipes and cat-bypass pipes sit in the same family as catalogue items for specific applications — the Porsche applications are the documented examples — and are described on their own page by fitment and construction.
