Performance Exhaust Systems

Performance Exhaust Systems, Built Around Your Fitment List

Five exhaust families from one workshop: manifolds and headers, downpipes and mid-pipes, catback systems, charge pipes, and intake manifolds.

Torvane builds aftermarket exhaust hardware for brands, wholesalers and tuning shops that sell by fitment. The range is organised the way buyers order it: by vehicle, by engine, and by the section of the exhaust that needs replacing. Send a fitment list and the workshop confirms which manifolds, downpipes, catback systems, charge pipes and intake manifolds in current production match it, then quotes the confirmed items.

Everything is made in one workshop, from tube and flange stock to the finished, fixture-checked system. That single line of responsibility is what makes OEM and ODM work practical here: a private-label catback, a downpipe developed from your sample, or a manifold built to your drawing all go through the same scanning, bending, welding and inspection steps as the standard range.

The Range, Family by Family

  • Pair of stainless exhaust manifolds with flex sections on a dark background

    Exhaust Manifolds & Headers

One family, two jobs: turbo manifolds that carry the turbocharger, and headers that scavenge a naturally aspirated engine.

  • Burnt-blue titanium downpipe and mid-pipe sections with clamps

    Downpipes & Mid-Pipes

The largest family in the range: catted, catless and titanium downpipes, plus the mid-pipes that complete the front section.

  • SS304 catback exhaust system with burnt-blue tips

    Catback Exhaust Systems

Complete rear sections in three constructions: SS304, titanium, and carbon-titanium hybrid, with valves where the order calls for them.

  • Turbo kit with manifold, downpipe, gasket and bolts laid out together

    Charge Pipes & Boost Pipes

One kit, two names in the trade: the pressure-side pipework between turbo, intercooler and throttle, kitted per engine and chassis.

  • Pair of stainless manifolds with flex sections

    Intake Manifolds

The intake-side counterpart to the exhaust range: cast and billet manifolds, with fuel-rail kits on the documented applications.

  • Factory hall with large CNC machining centres, overhead crane and steel pipe stock

    Intercoolers

A short, documented list: front-mount intercoolers for named applications, and bundles that pair a cooler with its pipework.

Exhaust Manifolds and Headers in SS304

The manifold range is built from SS304 throughout, flanges included, with steam-pipe turbo manifolds for forced-induction engines and long-tube headers for naturally aspirated ones. Flanges are machined on multi-axis CNC centres to match the cylinder-head profile of the engine they serve, and collectors are formed by casting, wire cutting and printed tooling, depending on the design.

Fitment groups cover the engines the range is ordered for most: BMW six-cylinder turbos, Audi and Volkswagen performance fours and fives, Porsche and Lamborghini applications, and the Japanese straight-six engines that anchor the turbo manifold range. Each manifold page lists the fitments it serves, and inquiry confirmation matches your engine code to the fixture before production is scheduled.

Downpipes and Mid-Pipes, Catted and Catless

Downpipes are the largest family in the range. Buyers choose between catted versions with a high-flow catalyst section, catless versions built as a straight-through pipe, and titanium versions where the material is the point of the order. Heat shields, brushed or mirror-polished finishes and ceramic coating are specified per order.

Because a downpipe is ordered against an engine and a chassis, not a generic size, the downpipe pages are organised by variant first and by fitment second. Start with the variant you sell, then confirm the engine list on inquiry: BMW, Mercedes-AMG, Audi and Volkswagen, McLaren, Mini, Ford and Honda fitments are all in current production.

Catback and Axle-Back Systems, Valved or Straight

Catback and axle-back systems come in SS304, titanium, and a hybrid construction that pairs titanium pipework with carbon-fibre trim. Valved systems use electronic or vacuum-controlled valves so the driver can switch the exhaust note; unvalved systems keep the layout simple and light. Tip designs are part of the order: carbon, burnt blue and titanium tips are all produced in-house.

Systems are listed by vehicle family — Audi and Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini among them — and each system is assembled and checked on its fixture before packing, so hangers, flanges and valve wiring arrive where the installer expects them.

Charge Pipes, Inlet Pipes and Intake Manifolds

The induction side of the range covers charge pipe and boost pipe kits, turbo inlet and discharge pipes, and intake manifolds including billet manifolds supplied with fuel-rail kits. Charge pipe kits are kitted for specific engine and chassis combinations, mainly BMW, Mini and Volkswagen Group turbo engines, in aluminium and titanium piping.

These kits are published through the order book rather than a standing catalogue, so the pages describe what a kit contains and how fitment is confirmed: send the engine and chassis, and the kit contents are matched to your vehicle before quoting.

How a System Is Developed: Scan, CAD, Prototype, Fitment Check

Development starts from the original part. The OEM piece or the chassis itself is 3D scanned, the design is built in CAD from that data, and fixtures are cut before the first prototype is bent. The prototype is welded on its fixture, checked for dimensions and leaks, and trial-fitted on the car before the design is released to production.

The same route serves custom work. Send a sample to replicate, send drawings or 3D data to build from, or book on-car development for a vehicle you supply. Customer designs are treated as confidential, and non-disclosure cover is available for exclusive programs.

Materials and Finishes: Stainless Steel and Titanium

SS304 stainless steel is the working material for most of the range: manifolds, downpipes and catback systems use it for the pipework and the flanges. Titanium is offered where the order calls for it, on downpipes and full systems, and the two materials can be compared side by side on the comparison page before you commit a program to either.

Finishes are applied in-house: brushed and mirror-polished surfaces, burnt blue heat colouring, vacuum ion plating and ceramic coating. The finish is part of the specification you confirm on inquiry, not an afterthought added at packing.

Built for Brands, Wholesalers and Tuning Shops

The order book is B2B. Brand programs use the OEM and ODM routes: your logo engraved or laser-etched on the system, your tip design, your packaging specification. Wholesalers order across the range against a fitment list for their market; the supply base is brands and wholesalers in North America and Europe, and programs are quoted market by market.

Start with the list you already have — vehicles, engines and the sections you need. The reply confirms what is in current production for that list, what can be developed, and the quotation for both.
